Nothing much has been going on in the Cardwell home. The weather is warmer and has pulled us outdoors for grilling, eating out on the back porch, sitting out in our new reclining lawn chairs watching the kiddos and neighborhood, and watching little league baseball (not Hudson, just letting him watch the slightly bigger kids). The big news of the babies gender is coming fast. One week from Monday we are having our ultrasound and having a Cinco de Mayo party at a mexican restaurant here in town to celebrate. So far we have about 20 guests coming to find out the big news and of course we can't wait. We decided we will take Hudson to the appointment with us and have the ultra sound tech spell the results. If we do not Hudson will surely give away the surprise before we intend. For example for Mom A's birthday at the beginning of April we arranged for flowers from Hudson be sent to the restaurant that Jeff was taking her for dinner. Their time zone is 3 hours before ours so we had to call and give birthday wishes before their dinner and the first thing Hudson said on the phone was, "Hi, Mom A, went sent you flowers!" Oh well, she didn't understand him and didn't ask questions but we think we will plan ahead to not let this news out too soon. After the party I will post the results.
