Rain has brought Oscar in the house quite a bit lately. Due to an overwhelming fear of anything that falls from the sky be it heavy rain or a few sprinkles, Oscar cries at the door until he is safely rescued only to pace the house with a bear in his mouth (scare bear). His fears are real, one morning not too long ago I found him in our closet hiding from the noises of a morning storm. I do feel this is my fault. He was in my car in Cheyenne during an afternoon lightening storm, I couldn't get to him for about 15 minutes and ever since then he has paced and cried when it is raining. Lately it is not only when it rains but when the clouds cover the sky and there is rumbling noise in the air. Other than these insecurities he is doing fine. He is lazier than ever, tolerant of Hudson's probes and tugs and still has a great fierce bark when he feels an intruder (Cook's Pest Control, the mail man, Alagasco guy, ect) enters his space.
