We decided to drive up to Lake Martin on Sunday to see what it is like and WOW were we surprised. It is beautiful. It is a large lake that is long and narrow with many twists and turns. That have many marinas, golf courses and subdivisions on the water. As we dreamed we thought it would be a great idea to live on the lake while Bryan goes to Auburn for the doctoral program he is applying for. Auburn is 20 miles away from Lake Martin. Of course, we couldn't leave the area without checking out some model homes. Gorgeous condos on the water at all different price ranges and we enjoyed lunch at Sinclair's photoed here in the background. It was cloudy and windy that day but cool enough not to be miserable and a great lazy day at the lake.
