From Bad to Good...

Fletcher, our boston terrier, is a little over one year old and to be honest he hasn't blended into our family as well as I would have liked. He has always been great with the kids but he hasn't been able to just hang out with us without running off with the boys toys or making laps around the house at mach speed UNTIL this weekend. I decided to try a water gun as a deterent and it worked like a charm. Our little monster turned into a loving lazy little pup in one weekend. Now if he grabs a toy (this used to be a 5 minute long ordeal) he sees me grab the water gun and he drops it and runs AND the number of times he even dares to grab a toy has dramatically decreased. It has been magic! We have been able to pet him, and let him lay by us on the couch for hours without instance. If this sounds like cruel and unusual punishment please keep your comments to yourself while we enjoy our newly behaved pup.
