Bryan turned the BIG 30 this past week and we celebrated several times. He and Mom A celebrated when she was here and is really enjoying just what he wanted and weed-eater, edger, hedger all in one! We also got a card with a very nice dinner out gift inside. Thanks Mom and Jeff. Last Tuesday since I knew I was going to be in Atlanta on a business trip for Bryan's actual birthday and remainder of the week, I stayed home that day and planned a little surprise dinner with wrapped gifts and a cake. Okay, so I ran out of icing for the sides but it tasted good anyway!!! When I picked up Hudson from school I told him we were going to stop by the commissary and get Daddy specials snacks for his birthday and Hudson picked out a box of popcorn with Spiderman on it all by himself. He also learned the birthday song at school and we had to sing it throughout most of the dinner. When I got home from Atlanta we went to Carrabba's to pig out again to "celebrate" and when Papoo gets here this weekend we will finish the celebratory slide into his "30's" off with a bang. This past Saturday we took Hudson to the pool on base, they have a wading pool that is just right for him and gives us a break but we also enjoyed the big pool and even sent Hudson down the big slide. His face was priceless, he is not ready to do it again yet but no tears just a little wild eyed shock when I caught him at the bottom.
