FT. MEADE, MARYLAND
Fresh seafood, crisp cool air, beautiful views of the water, snowy holidays, good schools and lots of historical sites to see, here we come! We will move right after the Christmas season and are so thrilled we can't stand it. Ft. Meade is located on the map above, directly under the town of Severn (the light brown part is the base). We will be 20 minutes from Baltimore's city center and about the same to D.C's and another bonus - 10 minutes from the Baltimore airport. And one of my favorites, a 4 hour train ride into NYC! It seems so surreal right now because I don't know what it is like there. I have been to Pennsylvania & New Jersey for work and DC when I was younger but never to Maryland. We are super duper super excited and are planning a weekend trip asap to explore.
