We spent the last weekend and part of the week in Memphis with Mom A. It just happened to be
ELVIS Week which was quite a treat on many levels. We traveled to the Top 3 best barbeque restaurants according to the Travel Channel to make up our own minds about who was king - Rendezvous came in first with their ribs, with Jim Neely's Interstate BBQ and Corky's tying for second. Icing on the cake was while watching the ducks at the Peabody we were serenaded by "elvis tribute artists" who were competing for this year's title as best "eta". No they are not called impersonators anymore! We stayed downtown, walked and rode the trolley for an enjoyable weekend in the city. More pictures will follow. OH I must mention the Krazy Kanuck which was featured on Man vs. Food for their burgers. This place was amazing. The burger was in fact, delicious and they served us smores at our table!
