This weekend we took our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Clanton, Alabama. It is only 40 minutes up I-65 and it was loads of fun. When we first arrived we ordered cheeseburgers and listened to a band while we ate our lunch then we headed to get our tickets. First Hudson wanted to jump on the bouncy stuff where he was quite the dare devil sliding down head first! Then he and I took a ride around Clanton in a helicopter. This was really special for Hudson because they let him sit by the pilot upfront. Finally we took the hay ride to the patch and Hudson promptly chose the first pumpkin he saw which didn't get any argument from us since we were a bit tired by this point. We had a really nice time, the weather was perfect and the temperature was nice and cool.
