Anchorage, Alaska

I know it has been a very long time between posts.  Since our Disney vacation we have been very busy with another mini trip to Little Rock and we decided to have our master bathroom remodeled a week before we left for Anchorage so we had to choose all the tile, fixtures and paint colors in a short amount of time.

Last week we left Montgomery for Alaska and had quite an adventure getting here with an unexpected night stay in Salt Lake City.  After our arrival a day late it was a whirl wind trip for Bryan to see the sights and go on our train/cruise trip before he had to leave on Sunday.  Hudson and I are still here for more adventures and relaxation.  So far we have seen humpback whales, puffins, sea lions, dall sheep, bald eagles, moose, and a black bear and those were in their natural environments, not a zoo or refuge! The weather is perfect, 60's during the day and 50's at night.  The only odd thing is the sun.  It sets at 11:30pm to a dusk and is light all the time.  I mean absolutely no darkness.  Surprisely enough it has not phased Hudson or our nap and night routines.  Thank goodness!  Bryan has informed me that getting used to regular central time again is a bit harder.  We have taken lots of photos and will post them as soon as I get home.
