Hudson with Santa Claus
Forgot to mention...the dress for the evening was hokey Christmas attire. Bryan was inspired by cousin Eddy from the Christmas Vacation movie with a dickey under his golf shirt. It looked ridiculous which is exactly was he was going for. I found this colorful turtleneck and snow man earrings. Several of the best dressers had the most awful sweater cardigans adorned with Christmas appliques. We also had one family in all Camo, which is funny because they are not from the part of the country that would consider wearing Camo but here in Alabama this would be a normal everyday outfit. Go figure.

Bryan completing the final pre-party checklist... trash detail.Saturday evening we hosted Bryan's squadron Christmas party in our home. We had 25 guests for a sit down dinner. I roasted 2 whole beef tenderloins with mashed potatoes and rolls and everyone filled in with bringing sides and desserts. We had to borrow the tables and chairs from the Richie Center, the chairs are really an eyesore but besides that the party turned out good. We played several games one where the guys had to work as a team to wrap a gift (see photos). However, the big event of the night was Santa Claus dropping in and giving the kiddos a preliminary gift. The kids were all very quiet, star struck we think. It was fantastic.
