We still need to have the electrical wire routed through the cabinet or a switch installed inside the upper cabinet. That will be an easy job. We got two samples of subway tile in the mail last Saturday and are leaning toward a gray one with a cracked texture look. I think it will break up the white cabinets nicely and look great against the black granite countercops. We picked the granite out and decided on a butcher block for the center island. So far done are the walls, appliances, pulls and a new flat panel television by the window. It is nice to do this in stages so we don't disrupt our normal activities but now we are to the bigger projects which will take days at a time. It is going to look so different when it is complete.
